Mental Illness Education ACT Inc. (MIEACT) ABN 54 121 600 383 is an incorporated association – which means we are made up of members of the community committed to achieving our goal of providing mental health education. Being a member means you can vote at the Annual General Meeting, be eligible for joining the Board and have a say in how MIEACT is governed.

The Board of MIEACT invites individuals to apply to become Voting Members of the organisation for the period 1 November 2018 – 30 November 2019. The term of membership for 2019 has been adjusted to coincide with the Annual General Meeting.

Steps to become a member:

  1. Complete the application form below before October 12, 2018 for your membership to be considered for the 2019 membership term and to be eligible to vote at the AGM.
  2. All applications will be presented to the Board for approval and your membership outcome will be confirmed by November 2, 2018.
  3. Approved memberships will receive an invoice after November 2 with directions to complete their membership by paying the entrance fee of $1 (if applicable) and annual membership fee of $2.
  4. Membership must be paid via bank transfer or can paid in cash by/at the AGM – November 19, 2018.

Note: Application to become a member does not guarantee membership. Membership must be renewed annually and the annual membership fee must be paid.
