Support us in empowering people through education to sustain their mental health

Demand for our programs has greatly increased since Covid, and many kids in need are now missing out.

No child should be excluded from learning how to take care of their mental health and wellbeing. Your donation today can allow us to continue our important work, delivering free mental health education to children and young people in the ACT.

Mental Illness Education ACT (MIEACT) is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR), meaning all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Why donate?

Demand for our programs has greatly increased since Covid, and many kids in need are now missing out.
Your donation allows us to continue our important work, ensuring free mental health education to those who most need it.

As a recovery-driven organisation, we embrace lived experience to provide mental health education awareness programs in primary and high schools and the wider community to address stigma, increase knowledge and promote positive help-seeking.
In 2021 alone, MIEACT supported over 5,000 young people and 5,000 adults to better understand their own mental health, how they manage stress, and how to seek help.

Your generous gift today ensures we can continue this important work tomorrow.

Parbery – MIEACT Silver Partner

Parbery is a local, Canberra-based management consulting firm.  It has been working in and around the Commonwealth Government for decades and gets what makes Government tick, having worked with both large agencies, including the Department of Finance, the Department of Defence, the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, the Australian Taxation Office, and numerous other small government agencies.  Parbery’s consulting approach is down to earth, where they consider ‘substance over form’ to provide pragmatic solutions to help clients achieve their strategic business goals.

Partnership opportunities
MIEACT seeks to engage in partnerships centered on building genuine relationships, connecting the people behind the business with one another, and working to tailor a partnership that speaks to and supports your business’ unique purpose and place in the community. This is what partnering with MIEACT looks like:

  • A purposeful, long-term and deliberate relationship with ongoing opportunities to engage the community and demonstrate our partnership.
  • The opportunity to observe our sessions and meet with contributors and participants (including students), to hear about their experiences and to see the effects of our programs firsthand.
  • Demonstrated community impact and outcomes that can continue to be researched and refined.

As well as a continued commitment to the above, we welcome further discussion and other ideas that would make this partnership meaningful to you.
