You will hear the story of a woman from south India as she shares her story of being a carer for her mother with mental illness. She will share her experience of taking over her mother’s care at the age of 19 and continuing to care even when she immigrated to Australia as a young adult. She will share with you the challenges she has faced caring from a distance and raising her own family while comforting her own mental health concerns. In this episode, she will be sharing her story.
