This program designed to equip participants with practical tools to manage and respond to stress more effectively.

The program builds participant understandings of stress, including how to identify stress in our bodies, and how stress can impact our daily lives. The session equips participants with ways to respond to, manage and cope with stressors and provides them with tools and strategies for managing stress and build resilience more effectively.

This program is suitable for workplaces and staff at all levels and adults generally throughout the ACT. It is effective as a personal development workshop to help manage stress better and as a workplace team building program to better equip staff to manage workplace stress.

This program can be customised to address the specific needs of the audience or workplace and is delivered by trained educators and guided by MIEACT’s DoNOHarm framework.

 By the end of the session participants will:

  1. Increase their understanding of stress and the effects it can have on the body and our daily lives
  2. Understand stress tolerance and the stressors that impact our stress levels
  3. Understand the effect stress has on performance
  4. Identify levels of stress within a continuum and where, within the spectrum, participants fit
  5. Identify areas of influence and control for individual concerns and stressors
  6. Learn strategies to respond to stress and identify when to seek help.

This program will benefit your staff by:

  • Building resilience by equipping participants with effective self-management skills
  • Optimising performance with an increased understanding of the effects of stress on participants and how they respond to stress.
